Degeneres’ care for animals is oft-touted as a winning component of her personality. In the next installment of his input, the same twitter user Benjamin digs into the apparent extreme nature of this character aspect, highlighting how much her attention to the welfare of animals overrides her consideration of the potential comedy in any video clips.
We’re not exactly sure how this makes her a mean person…. Maybe our understanding of being “notoriously mean” is outdated? Is it possible we also care about puppies too much?
