[post_page_title]Becoming a cop[/post_page_title]
After the exam, if you are accepted into the police officer’s academy, the real hard work begins. You can expect to be in an intense, learning, and classroom environment for up to half a year. Here, you learn a number of skills that will help you when you get out onto the field for real.
These skills include everything from firearms training to studying criminology. You will also be expected to learn how to correctly write a coherent report. The harsh reality of the academy, however, is that there are many tests along the way. If you fail just one of them, you may jeopardize your future at the academy for good, so you will need to study as hard as possible.
