Not only had Amanda lost her father and had to pay for a funeral, but she had also been given two tickets from the same police officer on the same day. Things surely couldn’t get worse than that. But, Amanda’s day only got worse when she got home. As she reached her front door, she noticed that something was posted on the front of it, which could only be one thing: an eviction notice.
Amanda was struggling financially, so any extra cost was a massive set back for the family. So, on top of the funeral and tickets, she was also being evicted by her landlord. In a panic state of not knowing what to do, the family collected some of their precious things and left.
