At first, Benitez didn’t have a clue what the boy was handing him. It wasn’t until head read it that he realized that Noah had paid for his bill. The officer was so touched by this gesture, but he was also a little confused.
Why would a small child pay for his breakfast? But, it all became clear after he read the words that were scribbled in childish handwriting on the bill. The officer had never felt so grateful for such a small, kind gesture.
