You can’t trust just anyone to fly a plane. Being responsible for an aircraft and the lives of everyone on it is a huge deal, so airlines have to be careful about who they put in charge. However, while they require their pilots to be highly-trained, that doesn’t mean they need to have a university degree. As long as a person did well in high school and managed to earn several A-levels, they stand a chance of getting a job as a commercial pilot.
It’ll take some time before they’re allowed to actually fly a plane, but if they prove themselves worthy in training, things should work out in their favour. It won’t be long before they’re making over £32,000 for a year’s work and being the envy of their friends as they spend their days flying from one country to another.
