Ok, many of us have been there. The trains are empty, so you decide to rest your feet on the chair opposite. It might be a little rude, but as long as we don’t leave a mark, then there’s no harm done, right?
Sadly, we can’t think of a reason that getting your bare feet out in public and rubbing them all over the seat would ever be acceptable. In fact, that might be enough to see the people in the carriage get off at the next stop just to get away from them.
