Girls Just Want to Have Fun was one of the many hits that grew to become an anthem of a generation all thanks to Cyndi Lauper. The musician was riding the high life until the split of Cyndi’s first band led her to file for bankruptcy.
Apparently, Cyndi ended up having to perform in bars as well as wait tables just to pay her way in life until she was able to regain some of her career. Thankfully, Cyndi appears to have recovered after finding herself so far into the red.
