As if appearing in the soap opera General Hospital wasn’t enough, Tia Carrere went on to land a significant part in the comedy movie Wayne’s World. It seemed as though her career was taking off. That was until the action-adventure film The A-Team came knocking.
Tia wanted to break her contract General Hospital for the role as she felt as though she wasn’t getting paid enough. Although she filed a lawsuit, Tia lost the case, meaning she missed out on the money, her part in the soap, and a starring movie role.
