Christopher McCandless was the explorer who inspired the adventure biopic ‘Into the wild.’ He always had a desire to wander but was also extremely intelligent. He finished college at the top of his class but rather than sit in an office for the rest of his life he wanted to explore.
McCandless touched the lives of everyone he met on his way to living in the wilderness of Alaska. This is the last-known picture of the traveler before he passed away and inspired a book that inspired the film.
