I had one guy who was always late, and would constantly ask when he could take a break. He would also fake injuries to avoid working as hard as everyone else. He even asked if he could borrow one of our trucks to pick up a date.
But the final straw came when he casually strolled in at noon, saying he had to be in court that morning. Since he had no proof and didn’t tell me in advance, I took the opportunity to fire him on the spot.
