Back in his seat, Denny decided to take a quick look at the soldiers, and saw them all eating their lunch with verve. It was clear that they had been hungry, and Denny was overjoyed at having done something for them.
A few minutes later, the flight attendant walked over and asked Denny if he preferred beef or chicken. Denny answered her question, but remained intensely puzzled about why she had asked him. His questions were answered, however, when she returned a little later with a meal from first class!
