Appearing on morning show Good Morning Britain, Richard tried to explain how he hoped to reconnect with his estranged sons while simultaneously initiation legal procedures against their own mother. For him, it was no contradiction at all.
He always taught them to be “straightforward and honest,” he said. In his position, that meant going to the law, so he did. Since they were intelligent and “well brought up,” he trusted them to know he was in the right here, even if he was going up against their mom.
