This person is saying #ThereShouldBeALaw to stop waiters from coming over to ask if the food is ok, because if it is not, they’ll just tell them, but we think that’s not what we should be focusing on here. It’s not about the question, but the timing. Because waiters always seem to wait until the second you put the food in your mouth to pop out of nowhere and ask “how is it?” Well, we can’t answer now, can we? So we just nod along and give them a tight-lipped half smile.
