Being nice is not that easy, and it shows. Humans have this hilarious way of doing things where, even when they are trying to be nice to other people, they are not. This is a common example of someone who holds the door open for you, even though you are not even close to them. They already made eye contact, though, and now you have no choice other than to pick up your pace, do a little jog, and thank the person with a smile, even though they’re obviously thinking, “wow finally! Could you *be* any slower?”
