Most people assume that you can always rely on your parents to make you feel good, but this isn’t always the case. This woman found this out for herself when she updated her mom on her decision. After all, giving away art for free is the ultimate prize, right?
When I told my mom I would be giving away the paintings I made, and she said I probably shouldn't because people would have to throw them away. You know. In case they hated them. #thatwascold

Not according to her mom. While you can sometimes rely on your parents to make you feel good about yourself, you can almost always rely on them to be as honest as possible as well. Even if that means they’re pretty cold.
