Although humans are pretty confusing, there is one thing we know about the people who live on this planet. If they seem to say something nice and then add “but” onto the end of the sentence, there’s a high chance that they’re not really being that nice.

Take this ex-boyfriend, for example. While he could have dated another woman who looked like a model, he instead decided to go for someone with a good personality instead. Apparently, you can’t have both anymore, you see.
