After her guest appearance on Married With Children, Carrere cemented her place in popular culture when she featured prominently in the comedy film, Wayne’s World, and its sequel as Cassandra Wong.
In 1999, she was cast in the leading role of the globe-trotting Sydney Fox in the adventure television series, Relic Hunter. Elsewhere, she has had noted parts in Lilo & Stitch and in the Netflix comedy drama show, AJ and the Queen, alongside RuPaul. Besides acting, she has released five music albums and placed sixth as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.
