At the time, Mark had absolutely no idea that his missing son was just a few miles away on the other side of the island – and the fact that he didn’t have his son around nearly broke him.
As Mark resigned to the fact that he would never see his son again, he expanded his family and welcomed more children into the world. Over 30 years later, his eldest daughter encouraged her father to reopen the missing person’s case for his son. This was when the sketch was devised and placed on the missing person’s website.
