For as long as offices have existed, people have dreaded meetings. Even more these days, when so many of those awkward video meetings could have been emails.

The key to surviving these meetings is to turn off your microphone (so not everyone has to hear you gulp down water), and not look at your image on the screen. Why not, you ask? Because that angle is the furthest thing from flattering, and we don’t need more reasons to feel low right now.
