We don’t know why this is the case, but there’s really an unspoken rule that men can’t sit down while they pee. Because they were gifted with the ability to urinate while standing, it’s considered somewhat masculine to do so.
So this guy had a real dilemma when he walked into a bathroom that he was about eight inches taller than. In order to pee, he had to turn his head sideways like he was auditioning for a role in The Exorcist. He could have just sat down, sure, but that would have been admitting defeat.
