By accident stapling the wrong pages together, or simply needing to remove them for whatever reason, is both hard and painful. But there is actually simple way to make sure those stapler pins are less tight, and easier to pull out.
There is a metal plate at the front of every stapler, known as the anvil. If you turn the stapler upside down, you can adjust the settings on the anvil, by spinning the wheel to the “temporary staple” setting. That makes the pins easier to remove.
