The bald eagle may be known as the national emblem of America, but it is also known as the second largest bird of prey in North America. Bald eagles can grow to be quite massive, approximately three feet tall and eight feet long.
They also have some impressively long wings, with a wingspan of seven and a half feet! This incredible photo shows just how large these birds really are, although we aren’t sure we would ever want to get as close as this lady is!
