There’s yet another mistake in ‘Gladiator’ that must have had editors crying out in shame once they spotted it in theaters, and boy is it a bad mistake! In one of the dramatic battle scenes, a gas canister is seen on the back of a chariot, which is quite clearly being used to move the vehicle.
Then seconds later, the canister is seen crashing onto the floor coming into visible shot once again. Surely the editors realized that gas canisters hadn’t yet been invented during the reign of the Roman Empire?
