50 years after Woodstock, archaeologists find remnants from the festival

Back in 1969, Burk Uzzle was one of the many photographers that traveled to Woodstock. He wanted to try and capture the magic from inside the festival while also creating a portfolio of his work. It was an album that Burk never forgot.

Capturing the moment

Many of his pictures showed people in the crowd who were lost in the moment. Little did Burk know, but one photo soon became more iconic than the rest. He snapped a couple hugging in the crowd while Jefferson Airplane took to the stage.
