The team referred to the photos and used their new clue to get one step closer to finding the main stage. Thankfully, it didn’t take long until they had an answer. The team eventually uncovered what would have once been one of the four corners of the stage.

Josh Anderson, project director of the dig, said that finding the fence post mark was a huge step as it could be used “as a reference point.” Now, people can stand at the memorial and look up to the hill where musicians would have once played.
